Tens of thousands of households warned by letter about tiger mosquitoes in the area.

Summary

The NVWA has sent letters to about 20,000 households within 100 to 500 meters of tiger mosquito discoveries. Inspectors will visit homes within 100 meters to apply larvicidal agents if larvae are found, and mosquito traps will be set up to monitor effectiveness.
